Business Development Manager


An International Business Development Manager is responsible for implementing an organization’s business development strategy on an international level, identifying new business opportunities, maintaining key relationships and negotiating and closing business deals.



(A) Strategic Role

  • Strategize & researching effectively to create new customers on a continuous basis
  • Understand the requirements of the prospects and map it to the sences of the organization
  • Meet with business targets set for the accounting year on a monthly basis and ensure a steady booking of orders throughout the year
  • Market intelligence activities for the sector ,identify prospects and needs
  • Preparing various presentations and attending client meetings regularly conferences
  • Following up clients continuously and responding to clients prospects enquiries
  • Prepare business development strategies according to the needs of the organization

(B) Operational Role

  • Handling the team of 2-4 members
  • Responsible for achieving sales target
  • Defining the exact BD marketing processes and responsible for executing the same
  • Monitor market Intelligence within the industry in terms of market development, new projects, competitive activity, new customers etc
  • Provide necessary training to sales team as and when needed for Lead generation
  • Monitoring & evaluating the performance of sales team – by guiding them to move in proper direction
